meeting ezra. hospital newborn photography in bellingham
new babies are magic. i really don't even have words to describe how i feel about meeting my babies. it might be the reason that there's a part of me that will always want more. and while your first is the ultimate life moment, i have a heart for siblings meeting new babies. i am a bucket of tears when a mama sees her big babies while holding a new babe. it's also why photographing a newborn while still at the hospital is totally my jam. you'll hear me say too often - photos on birth day are so important because a newborn will never look this way again.
this family. much more than a client. we've shared pieces of our lives with each other since their oldest was new. i've been able to walk along side when it was hard and be present through so much joy. and this day. seeing two sisters who are loved and adored in such raw, real and patient ways - meet a baby boy who was dreamt about and prayed for by so so many... the room was filled with tear causing joy but also so much peace and love. it was the kind of moment you soak up. a moment that causes you to cuddle your own a little extra.
so thankful for the honor of being on the first to know list. for being allowed to document one of the sweetest moments as a family grows. and to be able to share it with you. so that you might get that flashback to meeting your littles and feel the need to squeeze them extra. or maybe you are awaiting your own bundle of magic and your heart just flipped with excitement. it will be the. best. day.
